A beautifully bound old-fashioned looking book

I will assume that because you are looking at this book you are already interested in owning a copy of his works and so I will focus on reviewing the physical book itself rather than the plays, poems and sonnets which are all present and correct in this volume.Having been inspired by doing the Shakespeare walk in Central London on the 23rd April 2016 I decided to look around for a complete works of Shakespeare book that would take up less space on my shelf than all of them individually. I ruled out getting a paperback version because I wanted something that would last and looks nicer on a shelf. I looked around and chose this copy as I was intrigued by the Leather Bond aspect of the book.I opened up the Amazon package and was amazed at what I was holding. The book is absolutely beautiful. The cover design around the edges is so intricate. The spine is wide and modelled after those old fashioned books you might see in the library of a manor house, with those raised smooth parts at the top and bottom (for want of a better way of describing them). The back cover is equally as detailed and intricate as the front and the pages of the book itself as gold edged. Holding this volume you really do feel like you are handling an old fashioned book. Absolutely stunning. Inside the book the writing is rather small compared to normal books but it is perfectly readable and the font used has a wonderful old quality to it that I find very easy to read.I will definitely be looking to get some other Leather-Bound Classics from the Barnes and Noble range if they are anything like as beautiful and well presented as this was. If you are looking for a Complete works of Shakespeare then buy this one - you won't be disappointed!

RETURNING

This is NOT the COMPLETE works of Shakespeare. I am returning this book, what is in there is so appalingly set out it's a disgrace this is still being sold. I didn't think I needed to read the reviews for this book, so got caught out.

Illegally and terribly produced.

All of the text has been copy pasted from a website and still has copyright warnings within the text that say the text may not be published and distributed for commercial use. It's also disgusting to read as there is no clear text formatting and new works aren't clearly marked so it's just a wall of text. Actual joke.
