Lacks page numbers, contents, index and preface

This is another tiny print and bind from digital file products. The foreword of 3 lines tells us that "many" of Lawrence's books were "banned". This publisher really knows his stuff! No index. No contents; but if there were it would need page numbers. It hasn't been given these either.This publisher should be "banned" from the book trade on this evidence.First Rate Publishers. None of these words apply.

D. H. Lawrence deserves better

The writing of D. H. Lawrence holds up, but this particular publication of his work is of embarrassingly poor quality. The print quality of the illustrations, including the cover, is very low (eg, pixellated and fuzzy), and I wonder why the publisher would bother such an attempt. Many of the numeric information inside -- prices, addresses -- is simply missing, eg there will be an absurd line like "the bed cost . francs for the night".In short, this is a fine and classic travel novel given very poor treatment by an unscrupulous publisher.

Poorly presented edition but wonderful account

Very disappointed with the size of the text and the layout of this Amazon edition.Lawrence is an extraordinary writer & fortunately for me this is not my first encounter with his work ( I bought this as a gift) but it is regrettable that anyone should have to read him for the first time in such a poorly produced and off-putting edition.
